William D. Cassidy, III
Bill Cassidy is one of the two founding partners of The Human Resource Partnership, L.L.C. and also manages the firm's Publishing Industry practice. He has held executive positions in Human Resources and Administration with such major publicly-owned and privately-held corporations as ITT, Warburg-Paribas, Penn Central Corporation, Akzo-Nobel International, and Concurrent Computer Corporation. These corporations range in size from 1,500 employees and $250 million in revenue to over 400,000 employees and $20 billion in revenue. In 1982, he also founded Human Resources International, L.L.C., a human resource advisory firm.
Cassidy has domestic and international experience in corporate and human resource strategic planning; executive selection, recruitment, and staffing; organization development and training; acquisitions and divestitures; labor and industrial relations; international compensation and benefits; and safety and environmental health.
Cassidy has served on and provided counsel to corporate boards of directors, public and not-for-profit organizations, human resource consulting firms, and individual senior executives. He lived in Europe for five years, and has worked in human resources in South America, Mexico, Canada, Scandinavia, and the Asia-Pacific Rim.
He was chairman and CEO of the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruiters (IACPR). He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Nationís Business, and has appeared on CNBC and CNN.
Cassidy received a B.S. in biological sciences from Hampden-Sydney College, an M.S. in Personnel Administration from George Washington University, and a Ph.D. in human resource management from Clayton University.
